Why are active templates not showing in the Templates list when creating an email or using in an automation?

Issue

Active templates are not showing in the Templates list when users create an email via Create or as part of the Create Email automation step.

Cause

The templates have been checked as Signature in the Filing section of the Template Drawer.

Solution

  1. Open the email template and expand the Filing section.
  2. Uncheck Signature 

The template will now display from the Templates list.
