The Dashboard is your personal view of information in FYI. It displays emails, documents, tasks and client interactions that are specific to your login.
Your documents can be sorted and viewed in a variety of lists. Each of these lists is represented by a tab within your FYI Dashboard, including:
- In Tray
- My Recent
- My Tasks
- Delegated Tasks
- My Jobs
- My Edits
- My Time
You can re-order the position of each tab by clicking and dragging it to the position you desire.

The In Tray lists documents and emails that have been brought in from external services either automatically by the system, or during an import, for which you have not yet acknowledged, validated and checked the automatic filing.
This includes emails from your Outlook Inbox that have been auto-filed by FYI and that you need to check before making available to all FYI users across your practice.
The In Tray also displays any files that have been imported from Windows Explorer (or via your OneDrive FYI - My Imports) with your name as the owner. Like email, these documents need to be checked by you before being made available to all users in the practice.
This ensures that documents cannot be seen by other members of the practice until the recipient has confirmed it is okay for filing.
All emails and documents in the In Tray have a status of "Draft". You will only see documents and emails in your In Tray if your name is set as the owner in the Workflow.
My Recent shows the documents that you have recently created, modified or accessed in FYI. By default, documents are sorted by Modified Date. Documents can be resorted or filtered by clicking the column headings.
My Tasks displays tasks that have been delegated to you by others, or that you have delegated yourself.
Delegated Tasks displays tasks that you have delegated to other people.
My Jobs displays jobs assigned to you. You can see the assignee for a specific job on the Jobs - Summary tab, or in the Jobs workspace by including the column "Assigned".
My Edits shows all the documents and emails that you currently have open for editing.
When working in a team environment, it is important that more than one person does not work on a document at the same time, to avoid loss of work or save conflicts.
FYI has an intelligent system to ensure this does not happen. It is critical that you indicate when you have finished editing a document. This releases the document so that other users have access to edit them. It is recommended that you check your My Edits at least once a day for any documents you may still have open for editing.
This tab displays all system Notifications from FYI (for example, if you have been allocated a task, if someone updates a task that you have delegated to them, or if you are mentioned in a Comment).
Notifications displays the Subject which is the name of the task and for a comment this displays the Message. It also displays the client. You can click the link in a Notification (for example "Username" assigned you a new task") for quick access to display the Tasks list with the relevant task open.
You can select a filter with the Notification Type, for example, Tasks, Comments, Process Step Execution. An FYI administrator can use the Users filter to see notifications about users that have been sent an invitation to FYI.
The Alerts icon in the top right-hand corner of the menu can also be used to display the Notifications tab in the Dashboard.
The My Time tab displays your Time Sheets. Refer to Time Sheets.
