- For practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager, your Clients, Jobs and Team are instantly imported from Xero Practice Manager and continuously synchronised in FYI.
- Your Client’s Tax Returns are also automatically retrieved from Xero Tax and filed in FYI.

Synchronising with Xero Practice Manager
For practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager, FYI synchronizes with Xero Practice Manager on a daily basis and updates information related to your Clients, Staff and Jobs.
This means you don’t have to maintain data in multiple locations.
Xero Practice Manager continues to be your single source of truth for client information. Any change in Xero Practice Manager is automatically reflected in FYI.

Xero Tax Automations
The Xero - Tax Return process automatically files batches of all tax returns received electronically via Xero Tax. This calls out to Xero Tax on a scheduled daily basis to retrieve all newly issued returns since the process was last run.

Xero Ledger Automations
The automation engine in FYI provides the ability to import and AutoFile batches of reports from your Client’s Xero Ledger.
Reports that can be automated are:
- Balance Sheet
- Bank Summary
- Budget Summary
- Executive Summary (currently in Beta)
- Profit and Loss
- Trial Balance
- With a single click, all reports are automatically named and filed in FYI according to practice preference.

Note: We are working with Xero to extend the list of reports that can be automated including the uncoded statements report.
