Client documents are the lifeblood of any practice and accountants have compliance obligations to keep client files for at least 5 years. Therefore, it is critical that when a practice adopts a new document storage application, they can bring their historical documents with them.
The FYI Bulk Import function allows administrators to easily import historical documents that have been uploaded to the cloud via a specified OneDrive account. The Bulk Import provides the ability to map your existing document folder structure to the FYI Clients, Cabinets and filing Categories so documents are filed in a consistent folder hierarchy. This means that even documents created prior to FYI can be easily identified and grouped once your practice has made the move to FYI.
