At the top of lists, there are selections for the views within that list. For example, in the Documents list, there is a view selection, for example, "Recent", "Deleted", Emails - Sent" , "Mail Register - Draft" etc. For each list there is one view which always displays as the default and users can select a different view to change what the list displays.
As well as the standard views, the drop-down will also include any saved views for that list (refer to Custom Views - Saving Changes to the View Layout).
FYI can be set up so that, when a user selects a particular view in any list, that choice will be their default for the rest of the session (that is, until they log out). This means that when a view has been selected, when the user displays any other list and then redisplays that list, the same view will still be initially selected in the drop-down.
To Enable Sticky Views
Sticky Views can be enabled by an FYI administrator. When this is enabled, it applies practice wide, for all users.
- From FYI, click Settings in the top right-hand corner.
- Select Practice Settings and then select Admin.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Click the Sticky Views setting to select this and it displays with a green tick.
