An FYI administrator can delete a Cabinet. Refer to Removing a Cabinet in Managing Cabinets.
- When you click Remove, if there are any documents that have the Cabinet as filing details, a message is displayed with the clients.
Note: This does not include documents for archived clients.
- If you are removing a Cabinet that is already assigned to any Clients, Users Filing Defaults, or as the Practice Filing Defaults, these are displayed so you can reassign the default to a new cabinet. You are given the option to reassign the default to a new cabinet. This does not reassign any default categories. Refer also to Setting Filing Defaults for a Client, Setting Defaults and Filing Defaults for your Own Login - My Settings and Email AutoFile Settings, Exclusions and Practice Filing Defaults.
For details of how to find any documents that are filed under the Cabinet and how to refile them, checking the User Groups and how to reassign the Filing Defaults when removing the Cabinet, refer to Removing a Cabinet in Managing Cabinets.
