Practice Templates and documents that do not relate to a client, such as policies and procedures, are stored in FYI in Knowledge Cabinets.
This article contains the following sections:
Templates Tab
The Templates tab in the Knowledge Cabinets provides access to view the templates and to create emails and documents using Templates and Word Stationery. Refer also to Using the Knowledge Templates List.
Standard Users do not see any templates with the Status set as "Draft" or "Archived". They do not see the Hide/Unhide the Archived Templates button and they cannot filter on the Status column.
An FYI Admin, or a user in a User Group that has Permissions enabled for Templates, uses the Knowledge - Templates view to create and edit Templates, Word Stationery and Email Signatures. These users will see the Create template button and have access to edit functions.
They also have access to Templates, Word Stationery and Email Signatures that have the Status set as "Draft" or "Archived" and can set the filter for the Status column and use the Hide/Unhide the Archived Templates button.
Refer to the sections Templates and Stationery and Templates and Signatures for Email.
Additional Knowledge Cabinets
You can also set up additional Knowledge Cabinets to suit your practice. These can be used for internal documents, such as policies and procedures, for documents related to internal administration, or for any resource or reference documents not specific to a client.
Providing you have been given access, these Cabinets appear as additional tabs alongside Templates in Knowledge. Refer to Internal Documents in the Knowledge Cabinets.
Additional Knowledge Cabinets are available for practices on Intermediate and Pro Plans.
