Filing client emails is crucial to ensuring a complete client file inside of FYI. FYI attempts to AutoFile emails where possible, but given there are a number of situations where this is not possible (such as when the user has In Tray review activated), it's important to know how to file and refile emails from within Outlook.
Watch this tutorial to learn how to:
- Identify an email as "Not Filed", "Draft Filed" and "Filed" inside of Outlook
- File an email into FYI from Outlook
- Refile an FYI email from Outlook
- Remove an FYI email from Outlook
Note: For In Tray users: You only need to file an email from one location. Therefore, if an email is filed from within Outlook, it will be filed inside FYI and removed from your In Tray.
