The Syncing with FYI message takes a long time, or it does not complete the sync.
This could be caused if you are trying to sync a very large document, a very large number of document or if other members of the team are also syncing.
This is outside of FYI. If OneDrive cannot finish syncing documents, this can cause a time-out in FYI. Refer to the Microsoft help, for example, Fix problems uploading files on the OneDrive website, OneDrive is stuck on “Processing changes".
Another potential solution is to make sure that Always Keep on this device is not selected for the relevant file(s). This is displayed by right-clicking over the file in your OneDrive in Windows Explorer. This will reduce the load you are synchronising.
If the file is still open, FYI displays the message"Document is open and can not be synced". Close the relevant document and the sync will refresh automatically.Refer to Opening, Editing and Finish Editing Documents.
