Issue
In the FYI Drawer in Outlook, I am trying to file an email but the following message is displayed in the drawer:
''This email will not be filed, since the thread is set to removed'.
Cause
This message displays when you try to file an email that is part of a thread and where the first or original email has not been filed, or if it has been deleted.
This could be, for example, if you are responding to an email and trying to file this response, but the original email that has not yet been filed in FYI.
Solution
File the original email before drafting the response.
This is always good practice as this will automatically file and thread all responses to the email.
