Implementors: Migration Audit Report

Once the FYI Migrate App is completed, a Migration Audit Report is automatically generated. This is a .CSV report that gives a summary of the total files and documents that have been migrated and lists any errors and excluded files with the reason for the error or exclusion. Only details of errors and excluded files are shown in the report.

The Migration Audit Report is generated after each migrate has run and completed. The file is generated with the following filename and location:

 %APPDATA%\FYI Migrate\Reports\Migration Audit Report.csv

The Migration Audit Report is automatically uploaded as a document within your FYI. It is added to the Cabinet FYI Migration which is created in your FYI Cabinets.

Any new versions of the Migration Audit Report file are uploaded as threaded copies and a new report is only uploaded if changes are detected.

The following is an example of the Migration Audit Report for a migration from MYOB.

Warning

DMS document file not present in datastore

For Database-backed migrations, the filename for a document is not present on disk in the folders selected.

Notes:

  • The Migration Audit Report from  %APPDATA% is only available for Migrate App version 1.0.0.161 and higher.
  • The Migration Audit Report from within FYI is only available for Migrate App version 1.0.0.171 and higher.
  • If the Migration cache is reset, a new Migration Audit Report is created.
  • If migration is stopped and restarted, the same migration report is updated.
  • Cancelling the FYI Migrate does not append the existing report. The Migration Audit Report is created only when the migration cycle is completed.
