There are various ways to format text in FYI using the formatting tools in the Editor.
Formatting the text
You can format the text using the tools at the top of the Editor. The text displays in rich text to reflect any formatting.
When text has been selected, if a font has been applied to the selection, this displays in the Font Family and Size. The following is an example of the font applied to the text in an Email Signature.
Use the Font Family drop-down to select a different font. There is a set selection of fonts available in FYI.
The tools with the vertical ellipsis display additional tools, for example, click the More Text icon to display additional options.
The following is an example of displaying the options in More Paragraph - Line Height.
When the cursor is at the left-hand side of the template text area, a Quick Insert icon displays.
Click this to add tools to insert tables, numbered and bullet lists and horizontal lines.
Note: Due to the way in which styling is applied to HTML, you may find that using certain keys (such as a backspace) you may lose the style. If this happens, you can usually restore the styling by clicking elsewhere in the content area of the Editor.
Font used for the Text in the Editor
The text entered in the Editor uses the Font and Font Size set for the Default Font and Default Font Size in your practice Settings (refer to Managing Practice Settings). If you do not have the Default Font and Default Font Size set for your practice, this is set as Sans Serif 12.
